Information for Attendees


Registration Information:

The registration and information desk will be located in the Basement Foyer area of the Science Center (303S at the University of Auckland City Campus) and will remain open at the following times during the conference:

Tuesday, April 19th8:00 – 17:00
Wednesday, April 20th8:00 – 15:30
Thursday, April 21st8:30 – 13:00
Friday, April 22nd8:30 – 12:30

Note that on-site registration for the conference can only be done as indicated in the technical program but registration kits can be collected at any of the above times.

Weather Tips:

Auckland weather can vary from cold to rainy to sunny in a single day. Please check the weather update at http://www.metservice.com/towns-cities/auckland/auckland-central for advice on sun protection and clothing layers during your stay.

Since the NZ sun can be very harsh, we recommend wearing sunscreen even on cloudy days. We also suggest you carry a jacket since the evenings get chilly. On April 21st, Thursday, please carry sun protection for the day out and a jacket for the evening since you will travel from the excursion directly to the banquet. Also note that there are no facilities to store bags or luggage at the conference venue so please store your belongings at your hotel or place of accommodation before the excursion.
